Privacy Policy

Nestabit ("we", "our", or "the App") is a habit tracking application designed to help you build better daily routines. This Privacy Policy explains our data practices — which, in short, are as minimal as possible.

We built Nestabit with a privacy-first philosophy: all of your data lives entirely on your device and is never shared, sold, or sent anywhere.

To be completely transparent, Nestabit does not collect, store, process, or transmit any of the following:

All data you enter into Nestabit — including habit names, icons, colors, frequency settings, completion history, and streaks — is stored exclusively in your device's local storage (SQLite / shared preferences).

This data never leaves your device. Uninstalling the app permanently deletes all associated data. We have no access to it at any point.

Nestabit may request permission to send you local push notifications as daily habit reminders. These notifications are scheduled and delivered entirely on your device. They are not routed through any external notification service and contain no tracking pixels or identifiers.

You can disable notifications at any time in your device's system settings. No data is collected as a result of enabling or dismissing notifications.

Nestabit does not integrate any third-party SDKs, analytics platforms, advertising networks, crash reporting tools, or social login providers.

We do not use Google Analytics, Firebase Analytics, Facebook SDK, Crashlytics, Sentry, Mixpanel, Amplitude, or any equivalent service.

Nestabit does not collect any personal information from anyone, including children under the age of 13. Since no data is collected at all, the app is safe for use by people of all ages.

Nestabit is distributed through the Apple App Store and Google Play Store. These platforms may collect certain technical information (such as download counts and crash reports) independently, in accordance with their own privacy policies. This data is not shared with us and is governed entirely by Apple's and Google's respective terms.

Because no data leaves your device, the security of your habit data is governed by your device's own security model — including screen lock, device encryption, and OS-level app sandboxing.

We recommend keeping your device software up to date and using a secure screen lock to protect any locally stored app data.

If we make any material changes to this Privacy Policy in the future, we will update the "Last updated" date at the top of this page and note the change within an app update description.

Since we collect no data, any future changes will only reflect updates to app functionality (such as optional cloud sync) that you would explicitly opt into.
